Disney Inspired: Mother Gothel

I just realized I hit save on this one instead of Publish. Darwin Award, much?

Hola, everyone! I think I've said already that Tangled is my favorite Disney film out of the newer ones. The princess was so sweet, but nothing makes a Disney movie like a good villain, and this week I'm doing Mother Gothel.

Did anyone else feel that Gothel at the beginning of the film was actually quite likable in an obnoxious sort of way? I didn't think she had actual murder in her, and I felt for her when they took her flower. And then she goes all psycho on Rapunzel's butt...

In any case, I went for a neutral eye and a vampy lip for her. The burgundy lip is from a company that no longer exists, so I didn't list what it was.

Tools:
  • MAC 239 (Medium shader)
  • MAC 217 (Fluffy crease)
Cosmetics:
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Nylon (Sparkly champagne)
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Twice Baked (Warm medium brown)
  • MAC Pearlglide Pencil in Lord It Up (Gold brown)
  • Brown burgundy lipstick.
Eyes:
Nylon all over the lid with the 239, Twice Baked in the crease with the 217. Line with Lord it up.

Lips:
Burgundy.

Face:
Foundation as usual.

Sometimes, I feel silly wearing dark lipstick, so I couldn't make a serious face. Don't judge the scrunchy face.
