Sorry to those of you who saw this post yesterday and may have looked back at it only to find that it was missing. I took it down temporarily because for some reason blogger turned all the photos sideways. I'm not even sure how that was possible, but seriously. I'm not happy with blogger, and I'm trying to find some other blog host. The obvious choice is wordpress, but if anyone has other suggestions, please do go ahead.
In any case, the Disney series is back, and we're starting with Remy, the adorable rat from Ratatouille. Remy is an expert chef, he has a strong sense of smell and he doesn't want to eat garbage. He also controls a chef named Linguini using his... hair. Somehow. Don't think about that one too hard.
Brushes:
- Smudge brush from Kat Von D set
- Medium shader (MAC 239)
- Medium narrow crease brush (MAC 226)
I'm gonna forgo the normal format for the list of cosmetics just for this post: I was doing a new thing where I dig into my older makeup and actually use it (heehee!) All of the eye stuff is from a no-longer-available Tarte palette (including the liner). It's a smoky palette called 'peep show,' and I'm sure if you feel like it you can match it with almost any other smoky palette. I also used a cheap party favor gloss (clear with silver shimmer, very easy to dupe) and the Yanqina mascara.
Eyes:
Apply a silver from lashline to crease with the 239 and blend a charcoal into the crease with the 226. Line with a black liner and use a smudge brush to smudge the line a bit. Mascara!
Lips:
Apply silvery gloss.
My skin's freaking out a little so I passed on face makeup (no foundation or blush today). It's more obvious in the next picture; the lighting was more favorable when I was taking the one above.
Check out that goofy smile! xD
Make sure you check Robyn out! She's doing Olie... of the Rolie Polie variety.
Oh, and it's good to be back! ;)
