Origins Never A Dull Moment Skin-Brightening Face Polisher
A lot of you will know that I was absolutely smitten with Origins' Eye Makeup Remover, (so much so that I included it in both my May and June Favorites posts) so I thought that I'd go ahead and try some more Origins products. Since about six weeks ago, I was running out of my Biore Microderm Exfoliator, I decided to try an exfoliator by Origins.

Final Fantasy Inspired Look: Edea
You guys know the drill by now. Friday: Final Fantasy! And, as usual, Christa's look is totally hot. some villain love, in this post!
This weeks look is still proof of my love of gothy look.. Edea has always been one of my favorite characters, between her look and the bad-ass sorceress , you can't go wrong ( even if in the beginning she's a villian.. but come-on , we all love the villians!)

Wet N' Wild Color Icon Trio: Knock on Wood
So the second of the Color Icon Trios I'm going to talk about is the Knock on Wood Trio. I actually used the browbone shade from this in the Spoiled Brat Look that I did last week (I'll be posting a face with all of the shades in this palette on Monday!)

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Semi Precious Goldstone
I promise, this is my very last Semi Precious review (and ridiculously overdue). Like always, though, I saved my favorite for last (though it was hard to choose between this one and Crystal Pink!)
Urban Decay Eyeshadow: Acid Rain
Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Acid Rain is a bit of an odd fixture in my collection. I got it really cheap on HauteLook (invitation) goodness-only-knows how long ago, and I've been using it very often since then.

Aqua Blossom Mint Mocha Lip Balm
I
haven't reviewed a lot of lip balms on my blog, so you might not know
that I'm a total lip balm fiend. That's why I decided to start my product
reviews for Aqua Blossom off with the lip balm, which (like I mentioned
in my overview of Aqua Blossom) is probably among the best ones I've tried!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Semi Precious Rose Quartz
Not gonna lie, I've been feeling an urge to collect Mineralize Skinfinishes lately. They aren't exactly a flawless product, but they can really be quite pretty. Rose Quartz is one of the ones I like best, though!

Disney Inspired Look: Rafiki
So, this week, Robyn picked out a real toughie for me. Rafiki from the Lion King!
I'm not gonna lie. I'm pretty disappointed with how this turned out. I just don't feel like the inspiration is as clear as it could've been. I tried integrating so red and yellow into this look, but the end results were not attractive (probably because I used mostly grey-blues). So I guess I tried to show my inspiration in the shape of the makeup instead, if that makes any sense. I don't think it's ugly, it's just not what I envisioned.

Best Blog and Inspiration Awards: Thanks, Sonia!
So, a long while a go the awesomesauce Sonia of Red Lips, Black Hair presented me with a few awards, and I'm just getting around to doing them. By the way? This was about a month ago. Fail! I promise, if you tagged me for something, I will be getting around to it.

Final Fantasy Inspired Look: Brother
![]() |
| Sorry for the horrible pic.. I think its time for a new camera |
Brother is "Rikku's Al Bhed brother... no, apparently he doesn't have a name. ^^; He's rather brash, but a decent blitzball player and a good airship pilot. He even makes a half-hearted attempt at learning English, such as it is. [X-2] The "leader" of the Gullwings (although no one really listens to him), Brother has become a parody of himself with his ridiculous animations and voices. He's learned English to some extent, mainly in an attempt to impress the newly babe-arific Yuna."

The Beauty Would You Rather Tag 2011
So just now, Opal Stevens asked me to do this tag, and since it looked fun I thought I would. Basically, it's the Would You Rather game, but with beauty related questions. I hope my answers are fun to read!
So, without further ado, here are my answers!

MAC Mineralize Blush in Feeling Flush
So far I've reviewed both Warmth of Coral and Pressed Amber from MAC's Semi Precious collection, but I decided to save my very favorite shade for last. (Before I start on the Mineralize Skinfinishes on the weekend!)
Quite predictably, of the three Mineralize blushes that I bought from Semi Precious, I liked Feeling Flush best!

MAC Mineralize Blush in Warmth of Coral
I don't own a lot of coral-peach color family blushes, so this is a unique new addition to my collection. Like I mentioned in my review of Pressed Amber, I absolutely adore Mineralize Blushes. Truly, I think they deserve much more love!
With that said, let's get going on my review!

200--No 203 Followers? Thanks, You Guys!
I know this is all gonna sound really insane and probably sappy, and that every blogger seems to feel this way, but I really, really have to say this.
When I started blogging just a few months ago, I expected to have this tiny, invisible blog that no one even glanced at. I thought maybe people might stumble onto me, but I never thought that there would be people who consciously made the decision to read my ramblings every single day.
I really, truly thought I'd be talking to no one, and so I didn't think I'd stick with blogging for this long.
It really is so amazing to know that there are people who legitimately enjoy what I do. In fact there are at least200 203 of them.
So to all of you who read, comment, click onto my blog just to look at swatches, make my day by emailing me, talk to me on twitter, recommend products, lurk, or do whatever it is that you do here in my tiny little corner of the internet: I know that there are hundreds and even thousands of beauty blogs out there. Thanks for making mine one of the ones you choose to read!
And, by the way, this does mean I'll try to organize a little giveaway for you guys: I'm just trying to figure out international shipping and stuff, 'cause I don't want those of you overseas to miss out!
So thanks again, and I promise my next post will be a review!

MAC Mineralize Blush in Pressed Amber
The MAC Mineralize blush formula is honestly one of my very favorites. The very first blush I owned was Love Thing! So basically, whenever MAC releases new shades, I get really excited. In fact, I bought all of the blush shades with this collection!

MAC Gem of Roses Lipstick
I meant to do this a while back, ie on Friday, the day after I got this, but I've been feeling spread a little thin lately, so I figured I'd put it off a while. I hauled big time from Semi Precious, and the coming days are gonna be semi-saturated with posts on blushes and Mineralize Skinfinishes, so I hope you enjoy them!

Disney Inspired Look: Flounder
And now it's time for the second post in the Disney Character series that I'm doing with Robyn of Stay Beautiful. This week, she got Jasmine from Aladdin and I got Flounder from The Little Mermaid. I used some of my Inglot colors for this one!

Last week, when Christa did her Zell inspired look, she mentioned that he was a video game crush of hers. Well, I thought this was super appropriate, since Balthier is one of mine (actually, probably my only one).

Toolsday: MAC Brush Cleanser
People will occasionally email me to ask what some of my must have makeup tools are, and I thought it would be fun to do a weekly post where I review one thing that is a fixture in my makeup collection/routine/whatever.
And I decided to make the name punny. I know, I know; it's horrible and corny and awful, but please don't slap me, I just couldn't resist!
For those of you who don't use this, I'd like to introduce you to one of my all-time must have products: MAC Brush Cleanser!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow: Oil Slick
I don't know if I've mentioned this yet, but I have an insane love for sparkly black eyeshadows. It's true! Anytime I see that a brand has a sparkly black, I want it badly. Last year I purchased this guy, Urban Decay's Oil Slick, at a really steep discount (I got this and Grind together for ten bucks!)

Disney Inspired Look: Meg
So, Robyn of Stay Beautiful and I were having a conversation on Twitter about how awesome the soundtrack to the Disney movie Hercules was (or something like that... I can't quite remember!) But we decided to start a series where we pick Disney characters for one another to do looks based off of. She picked Meg for me, and for her, I picked Mushu!
Full confession, I forgot to wear mascara. Again. Shame on me! xP
