Inglot AMC Lip Pencil 35

When I went to Inglot this wasn't on the wall of lip stuff. As I was trying the AMC Lip Glosses on, I had the sudden inspiration to try them on over black. I searched the wall for a black lip color, but couldn't find one. Good thing I asked the saleswoman! She helped me find what is, hands down, my new favorite black lip color.

Inglot AMC Lip Gloss: 544 and 543

Yes, these glosses are, in fact, as cool as they look. Inglot offers a variety of AMC glosses with very interesting duochrome effects. I'm a total sucker for stuff like that, so naturally I picked these up the very first time I went to Inglot. How well do they work?

Inglot Palettes

Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of content, but I had loads of schoolwork. For any of you curious as to what exactly occupied all of my time for the past week or so, here it is. As you can imagine, throwing that together took a lot of time, since I was doing the editing, but I think the final product is pretty good for just a week, don't you?

Now, on topic I'll finally be doing a post on the quality of the Inglot palettes themselves.

Inglot Shadows Part 2: Deep Colors

Hey again, guys. Sorry for not posting this yesterday, but it's always around this point in the semester that my school workload seems to become overwhelming and take me away from other things. I may be missing a few more posts over the next month-and-a-half, as well, so please bear with me until summer vacation starts!

On a more relevant note, here's my second Inglot palette, made up of deeper colors!

Inglot Shadows Part 1: Bright Palette

Dun dun dun! Here come the promised Inglot Reviews. I'll be starting with the much-raved-about eyeshadows, and I'll be doing them in three parts. I have two Inglot palettes with ten shadows each. Today, I'll do the first ten, tomorrow I'll do the next ten. The day afterward, I'll be reviewing the palettes themselves. After that I'll continue to the other, lesser known products. Inglot makes some amazing nail enamels that I can't wait to show you guys! I'm going off topic now. Anyway, this is my palette of holy-spit-how-amazingly-bright-is-that?! Inglot shadows.

Inglot's Shop Live Online

Hey guys. You may or may not know by now but Inglot now officially has an online store. As far as I know, it's for the U.S. only. (Sorry international folks!) I'm a bit busy today. I have a BUNCH of Inglot products I'd love to show you, but I also have a lot of stuff to take care of. I hope you keep checking back for the coming days so I can share some great Inglot reviews. For reference, here are some quickie product recommendations:

Stila Artist's Inspiration Palette

Stila's Artist's Inspration Palette is a steal at just fifteen bucks, so naturally I needed one. It's so sleek and sophisticated looking on the outside, isn't it? The inside tells a slightly different (more exciting) story!

Lazy Sunday: More Info

So guys, Lazy Sunday is something I'm gonna try out because I've been getting a few really great questions by email that I don't think a few sentences can really answer in detail. Also, I really like talking to you guys, and I hope this'll encourage more of you to get in touch with me! It's something I want to try out, and if I get enough questions, I'll be continuing.

Keep reading for more information on how to ask a question and how I'll be answering.

Lazy Sunday: Smokey Eye

Hey, guys. I've been hearing from quite a few of you lately, and I've really enjoyed it! But given that there are a lot of you I still haven't spoken with I've decided to institute 'Lazy Sunday'.

What is Lazy Sunday? It's a day when I do a post based off of a question one of you guys asked me. I'll be doing another post later in the day detailing Lazy Sunday, but feel free to ask any questions in the comments. This first post will actually be for a friend of mine, Maleeha, who wanted to know how I do a smokey eye. Here it is!

For Japan

I'm sure you've all heard of the earthquakes and tsunamis by now.

In a bit of a personal moment of silence, I've decided it would be best not to post about any beauty products today, but rather to create this brief post saying... well, I'm not sure. Would it be corny to say I'm sending my love and best wishes to all to those left devastated by the events? Probably, but that's the only thing I can think to say.

I hope only for the best for those affected.

I'll be posting normally again tomorrow, but my thoughts will still be with them.

Zapzyt Pore Treatment Gel

Zapzyt Pore Treatment gel is a gel-type spot treatment with 2% Salicylic Acid. I've been using this gel for a month and a half. It claims to help clear up breakouts and not dry out skin. The label also mentions that it contains 'natural botanicals'. Keep reading for my assessment!

Shiro Cosmetics: A Series Of Tubes (Part III: The Samples)

And now for the thrilling conclusion of my review on Shiro Cosmetics, the free samples of shadow I was sent with my order!

Shiro Cosmetics: A Series Of Tubes (Part II: The Intertubes)

Contents of the bag.
As I mentioned yesterday, I was really excited to get my order from ShiroCosmetics a week ago! I ordered the full set of ten intertubes, a balm/lipstick/lip stain. They're all vegan, and have shea butter, organic jojoba oil and candelila wax as the first three ingredients. Now let's dive into the review!

Shiro Cosmetics: A Series Of Tubes (Part I: Details and Things)

Full confession: the reason I made a purchase from Shiro Cosmetics is because the products are named awesometastically. One collection of eyeshadows is named after things from the Legend of Zelda games and another entirely after stuff from Pokemon. Because I was too wussy to order eyeshadow from an indie company I'd only done some small amount of research on, I wound up buying the Intertubes. All of them are really cute and all of them are named after internet memes! The original review was much longer than this.

MAC Jeanius Look: Diva In Distress

Named for the one Jeanius eyeshadow I didn't buy or use in this look.

This Friday, right after I bought Pink Cult Blush, I decided I'd use it! This is actually the same look I have on in the picture at the end of my Pink Cult post. These shadows are really complimentary of one another, so I'm glad I bought them all. This look came out looking like a cobalt-y twist on how I do the basic smokey eye.

MAC Pink Cult Powder Blush

That thing that looks like a bump in the surface of the blush
is actually a reflection of my lighting fixture.
Pink cult is a very pretty dirty blue-pink. Normally, I think I'd have gone for Overdyed, but I have way too many blushes that are way too similar, so I decided to mix it up a little.

MAC Jeanius Eyeshadow: Stovepipe Black, Motorhead and White Jeanius

Isn't the overspray on these so cool? I love when MAC puts out their bigger shadows, and I love when they put a design on top, regardless of how short lived the design will be.

MAC Indigo Pink Lipglass and Riveting Rose Lipstick

As a self-confessed purple fiend, naturally I needed to pick up Indigo Pink Lipglass and Riveting Rose Lipstick!

MAC Frayed to Order Nail Lacquer

Pardon the sheer artsiness of the photo above, but getting Frayed To Order to look the way it does in real life is hard. Basically, it looks like the color in the bottle but matte. It's white but it has a distinct pinkness to it.

Sephora By OPI Glee Collection: Gleek Out and Who Let The Dorks Out?

I've only watched a limited number of Glee episodes, but I definitely know who my favorite characters are. Kurt and the character played by Jane Lynch (don't know the character's name, sorry!) Therefore, last, but not least, I'll be showing you guys 'Gleek Out' and 'Who Let The Dorks Out?'

Sephora by OPI Glee Collection: Slushied

The next polish from the Sephora by OPI Glee collection that I have to show you is Slushied! Slushied is a bright Cyan cream. It basically reminds me of the color of every blue raspberry slushie I've ever had.
