Disney Inspired Look: Miss Bianca

Ugh, usually I can blame blogger scheduling for posts not going up on time, but this time it was all me. I forgot to hit publish after I scheduled the time, so this was saved as a draft. Oopsie.

In any case, time for more Disney! Please be sure to check out Robyn's blog for a look inspired by Pongo of 101 Dalmatians. And another special treat? This time Rachael's throwing her hat in as well! Check her out for a lovely look inspired by Belle.

The Rescuers is, in my opinion, one of the least remembered and underrated Disney movies. I've always wondered why it lacks popularity. Maybe because it's not based off of well known books? In any case, Miss Bianca is pretty fabulous and, like Jafar, is one of the few Disney characters who actually wears makeup.

Tools:
Cosmetics:
  • MAC Powder Blush in Pink Cult (Light dirty blue pink)
  • Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip Polish in Sugar (Pink frosty brown)
  • Kat Von D Eyeshadow in Missy (White with iridescent purple sheen)
  • Kat Von D Eyeshadow in Babe (Pale violet)
  • Kat Von D Eyeshadow in Lucifer (Black)
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Liner Pencil in Rockstar (Red purple)
  • Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara (Black, volumizing, slight length)
Eyes:
Prime your eyes. Pat Babe all over the lid with the 239. Take Missy on the other side of the same brush and pat it onto the inner third over Babe. Take Babe on the 217 and use it to highlight. Use the 217 to blend more of babe into the crease. Take a small amount of Lucifer onto the 217 and use it to define the crease. Line the lower lashline with Rockstar. Mascara!

Lips:
Apply Sugar.

Face:
Take Pink Cult on the 129 and sweep it onto the apples of your cheeks.

Lately, my skin's been looking AWFUL! I needs me some sleep and some de-stressing.

Also, I just got a sample of mascara from the Barney's beauty event, and I'm so in love. The Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara? It's so perfect. I love how it thickens each lash and really fans them out. Too bad it's thirty bucks... as if that's gonna stop me from buying it the second the Sephora Friends and Family Sale rolls around. Ha!

In any case, if y'all are familiar with any affordable, cruelty free mascaras, I'd love to hear about them.

Also, don't forget to check out Pongo!
