I'm really into purples, and given that I enjoy the Zoya polish formula, I really thought that I'd adore this polish. Well, unfortunately things just didn't seem to work out that way.
The consistency of this polish was good enough--not too thin, but not too thick. Trouble is this was not as opaque as the other Zoya shades I've tried (I needed three coats for opacity). I know that's not a huge deal for some people but I can rarely tolerate doing a third--two is enough for an impatient little miss like me! The dry time was fine, and the wear was perfect--all week with a top coat.
This is a gray, pearly purple. It's not the most difficult shade in the world to come by, though it is really lovely.
The Good:
- I liked the color--nothing too special, but pretty enough.
- Great wear.
- Good consistency.
- Quick dry down.
- I've never met a three-coater I was completely head-over-heels for.
- If you don't mind that it's not completely opaque in two coats, then the formula definitely isn't fussy.
- The color is fairly dupeable.
This is currently $8.00 from Zoya.
