Final Fantasy Inspired Look: Rikku

This week, I just started replaying Final Fantasy X. I guess I just forgot how much I loved Rikku. She's nerdy and logical without falling into the trope of the cold, unfeeling professor, and frankly she's adorable! And her Mix ability? It's so effing cool. I love doing two grenades! So here's my Rikku Inspired Look.

Image borrowed from the Final Fantasy wiki
How cool is her hair? Anyway, since this is Rikku, I decided to play with my Shiro Science Collection Colors.

Brushes:
  • Pencil brush (MAC 219)
  • Angled shadow brush (MAC 275)
  • Medium shader (MAC 239)
  • Full, dense blush brush with a rounded head (MAC 129).

Cosmetics:
  • MAC Powder Blush in Raizin (Deep ruddy bronze)
  • High Voltage Lip Whip in Kashmir (Soft black with olive sheen)
  • Shiro Cosmetics Shadow in Enrichment Center (Silvery green)
  • Shiro Cosmetics Shadow in Still Alive (Bright green)
  • Shiro Cosmetics Shadow in 2+2=10 (Minty blue-green)
  • Shiro Cosmetics Shadow in [Subject Name Here] (Pale gilded peach)
  • Shiro Cosmetics Shadow in Triumph (Golden tangerine)
  • Urban Decay's 24/7 Liner in Midnight Cowboy (Gilded champagne)
  • Urban Decay's 24/7 Liner in Stash (Mossy green)
  • Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara (black, lengthening, volumizing)
Eyes:
Prime your eyes. Pat [Subject Name Here] into the inner half of the lid with the 239. Pat Conservation of Momentum on top of it. Use the same brush to put Still Alive on the outer two thirds of the lid, and go over it with 2+2=10. Take Enrichment Center on the 219 and blend it into the crease. Pick [Subject Name Here] up with the 275 and highlight the browbone, and dot it into the inner corner of the eye. Line the inner third of the lower lashline with Midnight Cowboy and then use Stash to line the outer two thirds of the lower lashline and entire upper lashline.

Lips:
Apply High Voltage Lip Whip in Kashmir.

Cheeks:
Take Raizin on the 129 and sweep onto the apples of the cheeks and up to your temples.

By the way, how much of a pain in the butt is it to go backward in gaming technology? It boggles my mind that I have to input every single command turn by turn for Final Fantasy X. And I can't skip any cutscenes either. Ugh!

I can no longer recommend High Voltage Cosmetics.

This series is a collaboration of looks done by Fierce Nerditude and Play Hard, Look Fabulous. All of these looks are inspired by the Final Fantasy series of video games!
