Time for the eyeshadow review! I was sent four eyeshadow samples to look at: Plum, Fantasy, Blue Moon and Egyptian Gold.
These shadows have a smooth texture and go on well. I really like the colors, too, but there'll be more on that later. These shadows wear very well with primer, and alright without: an hour without primer, which is par for the course for my oilier lids. These shades aren't especially shimmery, and none of them is difficult to manage. They blend well and stay vibrant throughout the day.
Swept out, these look like this:

Fantasy is a red brown with a very strong green shift. It's really cool looking, but there was some migration with this shade. I used Too Faced Glitter Glue underneath and that solved the problem.
Blue Moon is a medium blue with a purple sheen. There's a visible white base to this one, but it's not too obvious, and foiling makes it completely unnoticeable.
Egyptian Gold is an orangey yellow-gold.
The Good:
- Very pretty colors. After seeing how strong the shift in Fantasy was, though, I was surprised that the sheen in the others was so subtle. They are, however, all nice and rich.
- Good wear. All day with primer. Slight migration with Fantasy that won't be present if you use a sticky base.
- Good texture: these shadows are smooth and blendable.
Nothing in particular.
The Neutral:
- A lot of the colors fall on the side of basic, but seeing a color as amazing as Fantasy gives me high hopes for what might be coming in the future. Of the four, the ones that really stand out to me are Egyptian gold, which is very lovely and rich, and Fantasy, which is just so... cool!
- These shades aren't shimmer-heavy, so if you avoid mineral makeup because you find that a lot of indie companies make shimmer bombs, this might be more your style.
These are currently available for $5.50 in Christina Marie Minerals's etsy shop.
