Linnaeus Cosmetics Swatch Assault

Hey, all. I was planning to have this up yesterday, but blogger randomly deleting my draft in combination with real life, interfered. Ugh. After I've done a ton of Linnaeus reviews, I thought I'd give you guys a good measuring stick to judge the differences between shades by showing them all side by side. I also thought I'd give some more overall thoughts on the colors. Hope you all enjoy!

In the top photo, Sprightly and Astute look much more similar than they are because of the way the light hits them. Check the bottom photo; you can see the difference much more clearly.

The below are some recommendations, just for reference, that you might want to take with a grain of salt. These are more based on my own evaluations than anything else.

For highlighters, I like: Twiggy (on orange-y looks), Kalahari (which works on most looks as it's a beige), Bouffant (on looks with warmer colors, as it's a soft shimmery yellow), Cliff Line (which works on most looks because of its silvery quality) and Stilts (which is pink, and works well on pink and purple looks and certain red looks, as well). Kalahari and Cliff Line are versatile, but I prefer the first for warmer looks and the latter for cooler looks.

For contouring the crease, I like: Zippy (which is plummy), Tough Stuff (which is very blue) and Those Gams! (which is a soft, warm/olive-toned black).

If you like bright, primary looking colors, you might want to try Mondo (yellow), Kitsch (coral-y red), Largo (which is a middle-toned blue).

If you like neutral colors, try: Zippy, Sprightly and Cliff Line (all of these have some plum tones), Those Gams! (which is a lovely soft black) and Kalahari (shimmery beige).

My favorite colors: Those Gams!, Sprightly, Zippy, Cliff Line, Balancing Act, Show Off, Astute, Brigand, Cavort, Skittering, Pollywog.

My favorite collections: Brush Tailed Rock Wallaby, Emerald Tree Skink, Green Mantella.

So guys, what are your favorites?
